The Storage Area

Well, the storage area; pretty much where the cooking fairies keep a lot of food and other things. It is for anyone who wants to store something. There's a steep staircase in a few rooms that lead to it. There is a lot of boxes that make it a fun place to play tag or hide-and-seek. It's lit up with fairy magic at all times, so it's a fun area. You can also get a lot of food and other things. The storage room is a cool place!

I Need A Map.....

I really need a map to be able to actually show you my house; right now I'm only telling you about it. I'll make one soon if I can.....

The Fluff and Foam Pit

So, this is one of the first things I made up. A cozy, fluffy, deep, smushy, awesome foam pit. I imagine digging deep tunnels to make fun forts. I first got the idea when I started taking gymnastics from Hruska's because they have a foam pit. But I'm imagining a ton of stuff besides foam: pillows, blankets, scarves, woolen things; you get the idea.

Well, it's pretty much a really fun pit.

Colored Rooms

In my Dream-house I have many rooms, some of which I have not told you of. From my main rooms I have little "club-houses" leading secretly off. Mini trap doors leading to cupboards unknown. Of those little cupboards play little live stuffed animals. I've always wished that my stuffed animals, "guys" as my family calls them, would come alive.
Anyway, they play there: not live, but play. You see they live inside the walls next to my room. But that's another story.
The little rooms, the Colored Rooms, are cozy "club-houses" you might call them. And they are like the Guest Rooms, different colors each. In each Colored Room there is a little shelf where you can put stuff. And there is a mattress for the floor, stretching out all across the small area. It's a puffy mattress with a heating and cooling switch to the side that determines the temperature of the bed. These "colored" rooms are just perfect for the guys so they usually hang out there.
There is also quite a few colored lights that make it a fun, bright place to hang out.
I love the Colored Rooms!

The Library

The Library is like any library, just special. Well, it's a little different. Instead of being ordered by author or series, it's ordered by title. Also, the non-fiction is completely separated from the fiction.

I have my own special isles, with my favorite kind of books. One is fiction, the other the opposite. Mostly science books. Also, in each isle, there's an empty space where I can put any books I write. It's quite an awesome library.

The Library Fairies have their work in and for The Library. They dust the books, deliver new books that have come out that I have requested, a lot of stuff. They are also usually of the older age.

There is a couple things my library does not have: one is lots of guests, though they are welcome, and two: no books or magazines with bad pictures or words in them. If the real version says a swear, the Library Fairies will switch it for, "Oh my gosh!" or, "Holy cow!" That's another thing the fairies do. And that's one reason it's run mostly by older fairies, because if younger fairies did it they might learn swears and say them. But if they did they'd be ban from my house. And believe me, I don't want that.

So, that's The Library. A peaceful, entertaining or learning area. I hope you enjoyed it!

THE Fairy Room and The Fairies ♥

The Room is kinda hard to describe...pretty much this: Beautiful. Wonderful. Fabulous. Fantastic. Sweet Scented. Colorful. Busy. Fun. Warm and Cold. Gorgeous. Perfect. An Extraordinary place to be. Very exciting.

It's kind of like the Season Rooms, with every Season in it, but all at once. There are sections in it with spiral golden arch-ways leading to the different areas. But in the main area is where a lot of the action goes on. Friends catch friends, neighbor with neighbor. A very fun area. The thing is, some fairies can't can't go into others' Seasons, so they have to meet somewhere. They don't like hanging around just anywhere, though. They prefer areas where anyone besides me can't come. That's the thing. No one but me can come in. The Fairy Room is where fairies lodge, keep they're belongings, and stay if they don't want to be around others. If say, "Fern" does not want to be around others, she'll go to her home and stay there for a while. If she wants to go do her work in the Season Rooms, she can fly out there. But it's definitely nice to have a little personal time every once in a while.

Also, the Fairies have a mayor. Actually four. One for each Season: Mayor Winter, Mayor Spring, Mayor Summer, and Mayor Autumn. All nice, all good. None better than another. Great fairies. They never made the fairies work too hard, but they do have their fair share of service. Service to me. The Mayors report to me what's going on, and I tell them what I would like them to do. I never make them do a lot, I just kind of give them updates on what needs cleaning and things. Mostly they get free time. But the work is pretty enjoyable, taking care of what needs taking care of. Fun days...if only I could do the same thing. I need to do more in my real life. But who knows...maybe someday I'll get every last thing I've described, am describing, and will describe in heaven. Maybe every time I do an act of service someone's making my house up there...

Guest Rooms

I might draw a picture for this blog sometime, one of the rooms upstairs and one of the rooms downstairs. Upstairs is mostly guest rooms. There is a pink one, red one, orange one, yellow, green, blue, purple, and white. Each one has many shades of the color. And they are all beautiful.

In the pink room there is a big fluffy bed with that super-duper fuzzy kind of cover, I have one of those covers. They are wonderful.

It also has a little light brown bedside table on either side of it. On those are a pot of ever-changed flowers by the color fairies. Usually they stay in those rooms, but if guests are there they will move somewhere else for a time. They really like the brightness of every room.

There's a light brown chest and closet as well. That's so they can keep many of their belongings at my house.
Well, you get the idea. In every room there is a light brown chest, closet, and walls and bed of that beautiful shade of green, blue, yellow, whatever. I love the guest rooms!

The Art Room

The Art Room is one of my favorites. It is a wide rectangular room, with shelves lining it on all sides but one. That is the one where I have my Work Desk. The Work Desk is light, made of glass-smooth wood. There are two drawers on either side of the desk, on the left side there is paper in the bottom drawer, and pencils, pens, markers, and erasers in the top. Everything is quite organized.

The shelves are in sections; for instance there is a whole shelf full of painting supplies, one full of cloth, yarn and needles, a big one with all kinds of clay, etc.

On top of the shelves is where you can keep any kind of artwork; preferably putting paintings above the paints, models above the clay, etc.

Straight ahead from the doorway is the paint shelf, to the right of the shelf is the clay. On that side of the room is the sewing/knitting shelf, and to the left of the doorway is a shelf full of drawing items namely: Special pencils for shading, outlining, whatever, many, many markers, crayons, colored pencils, special erasers, sharpeners, and anything else of that sort that you can think of.

To the right of the doorway are two shelves full of art books, so you can just sit down and learn. There are books on drawing, painting, modeling, sewing, knitting, crocheting, folding (as in origami), glass blowing, mosaic, everything.

Next to the pencil shelf is the one with mosaic, glass blowing, and folding. Behind my desk is a wall with four big pictures the Art Fairies painted. The one on the top left is a winter scene, top right a Spring scene, bottom left Summer, and bottom right Fall. The Art Fairies are very talented; they like to do art work and then put it somewhere around the house. If they run out of space on the walls, they'll put it in The Fairy Room which I shall tell you about later.

Now, about the Season Pictures, they were worked on by every Art Fairy together, which is why they are so special. Usually the fairies will be on their own, because they have their own different talents. But even though the Knitting/Sewing fairies might not be that good at painting, they could still help out. For instance, they might get the supplies when they weren't doing some of the easy painting parts, like the sun. The Modeling Fairies made the gold frames in which each picture was held. The Drawing Fairies drew the outline to prepare the picture of color for the Painting Fairies. The Glass Fairies made sure the picture could not be damaged by light.

The scene in the Winter picture is cool, with a background of mountains. It shows the ice skating rink, the ski or snowboard path, the cabin owned by fairies where you can stop in for a cup of hot chocolate, the pine forest where the winter fairies dwell, and fields of snow.
The Winter Picture is in a gold frame, with diamonds set in it to match the coolness of the scene. The Spring and Summer Pictures are different. They have different ones. For instance, the Spring one is gold too, but has emeralds set in it because the Spring Fairies like green. The Summer one is gold and has topaz gems set in and The Autumn one is gold with rubys.
The Spring scene is that of the crystal clear lake, the flowering meadows, the shady but bright forest, and the mermaids and unicorns by and in the lake. Like the Winter Painting, there are mountains in the background but these ones are covered in a maple tree forest.
The Summer Scene does not have mountains, but an ocean full of islands and shallow bays. It is a favorite area for mermaids. However, the Summer painting does have a forest and meadows.
The Fall or Autumn scene is a beautiful painting with an amazing background of a golden mountain of changing leaves. There is a lake and a meadow, but the most amazing thing is the forest. It's a red, orange, yellow, gold, and rainbow forest, with not a speck of brown on the leaves. Every leaf was perfectly painted like the real thing. The Autumn Fairies made sure of that. They always paint the leaves that grow, so it always looks like Fall. They also take the old away and either use them for a bed or make them disappear. In the Fall Room there are also pine trees, so the ground is covered in a blanket of dead pine needles. The Fairies don't mind that, in fact, it makes everything even more beautiful. Also there are lots of little red, orange, and white-speckled mushrooms (also know as toadstools) dotting the forest floor. And the Art Fairies made sure to paint every one.

So there are the Season Room Paintings, and the Art Room. I hope you enjoyed reading about it!

The Music Room

The Music Room is right next to the Kitchen on the left. It is a little hard to describe it, for it has to have many, many instruments. I guess it's kind of like this:
There are four sections in the room, Percussion, Brass, Woodwind, and Strings. Percussion is the biggest for there are many percussion instruments. In each section of room is those kind of instruments, and since it is a magical mansion the rooms can be big even if on the outside of the house it looks smaller.
In the rooms there is one of every instrument ever invented. Fact is, there are sooooooo many and so I'd need something to hold them all. And I have one. The Music Machine. Also known as the Sound Spitter. You type in the name of the instrument you want and it spits it out. Some instruments are big so there is a big opening. Just be careful, you don't want to get hit by a piano or organ coming out.
By the way, I already have common instruments displayed in the rooms, like piano's, drums, guitars, and flutes. There are others, but you get the idea.
There is one Music Machine in each kind of room also. One in the Percussion, Woodwind, Brass, and Strings. Each one spits out that kind of instrument. And, if you want to move the instrument, the Music Fairies will help you. They also take care of the them, by tuning, dusting, and making sure they are played enough so they don't get rusty. The Music fairies are very sweet.

So that's the Music Room. It's a lovely place!

The Dining Area and Kitchen

The kitchen is simple. There is a door straight across from the front door of my Dream-house, and it leads to the kitchen. The kitchen is pretty much a circle with A to Z letters that are over doors. The doors lead to either a short or long hall, depending on how many foods I like start with that letter. So in A, there would be apples, and blah, blah, blah. In B, beef jerky, berries, blah, blah, blah. C, cereal, cocoa puffs, candy, D, E, and so on all the way to Z for zucchini bread. K for kiwi is one of my favorites.
So the kitchen is delicious. The dining room is just where I eat with guests. It is nice, with a big, long, pretty table.
I really like the eating areas!

The Season Rooms

The Season Rooms are one of my favorite parts. Closest to the front door of the house is the Fall or Autumn Room. Next over Winter, Spring and Summer. When you walk through the doors of all the rooms, you will appear in a shed. Along the walls of each shed, you can find anything you might need in that season. Example, you will find rakes, extra coats, leaf-pressing books, and other things in the Autumn shed. In the Winter shed there are more extra coats, goggles, all sorts of wintery extra clothes, skates (even though I hate skating, they're there for guests), skis, snowboards, handwarmers, and much more. In the Spring shed there is flower-pressing books, light coats, bathing suits, and a few other things. And lastly but not least is the Summer shed. There are bathing suits, beach balls, buckets, shovels, metal detectors, snorkles, masks (that never Never EVER leak or get foggy), wet suits (full body), special sunscreen that never wears off or doesn't work, fins or flippers, and anything else you might want or need at a beach or field or forest.

So those are the Sheds. But that is not the great part about the Season Rooms. The Season Rooms themselves are the great part. I will start with the Fall Room.

When you walk across the marble floor of the Grand Room, turn right, walk through the shed, and go through one more door, you will arive in the Fall or Autumn Room. It isn't exactly a room, it is more like a museum set-up with real animals in the trees and real trees. But this is even more real, yet not real at all.
This kind of thing is what makes my Dream-house so magical. There is a meadow filled with Fall flowers straight ahead from the door and a golden, red, yellow, and orange forest to the right. Off in the distance is a firey mountain with a shallow lake below it. The sun rises and sets at the same time as outside of the room, and there are never any clouds. The trees don't need water, which is another reason it is so magical. Also, related to the blog title, it is a fairy land. There are fairies that go with each season and sometimes come out to do something else. So, that means there are many autumn, golden, forest, and leaf fairies in the Fall Room. All the fairies that live at my dream-house are friendly and open, and like to hang out with other people, fairies, and magical creatures. So you can do what you like in the Autumn Room.

The Winter Room is the biggest sport room in my Dream-house. You can ski(any kind, cross-country or downhill), snowboard, skate, sled, build snowmen, snowshoe, make igloos, you name it. Of course, snow and ice fairies would live here. In fact, they can make a cup of hot cocoa for someone out of thin air!

To ski, snowboard, sled, whatever, you need a mountain or hill. So there is a mountain and a hill. The hill is to the left of the shed, along with a field that streches way out behind it. To the right is a bare forest where the snow fairies shelter. Ahead is the ice-skating rink and mountain. Another great thing about snow and ice fairies is that they can quickly get you up the mountain. No need to go on a slow-poke ski lifter. A bunch of them can just quickly pick you up and fly you wherever you want to go. They like to help out a lot.

The Spring Room is very pretty. Flower fairies, forest fairies, leaf fairies, and others like to hang out in this pretty, warm, nice climate. It is the perfect temperature all the time, and even if you do get hot there is a lake right there to jump in to.
Another thing I forgot to mention. When you jump into a lake, you become a mermaid or merman unless you have flippers or something on your feet. What prevents your feet becoming a tail is whatever is on your foot. Even an ankle bracelet will stop the change.
The landscape is one of my favorite parts about the Spring Room. There is a mountain ahead like in the Winter and Fall Rooms, and a forest to the right. The meadows to the left has any flower you can think of; rare ones, common ones, wild ones, ones you find in gardens. Fields of the brightest colors you could imagine: that is what the fairies love about it. They are the ones who grow, take care of, and make sure that the flowers are not picked. Their only exception is if you ask nicely and let them press it perfectly in a book. Then they know it will be safely preserved.

The mountain in the Spring Room is meant for climbing. With soft green ferns, tall oak, aspen, pine, and many other kind of trees, and velvety moss growing on smooth gray rocks, it is a wonderful place to be. There are also fresh, cool streams that run down to the lake. The paths are perfect, and made by the mountain unicorns. The unicorns are just as friendly as the fairies and mermaids, but they are more shy. They tend to stay away from a lot of action. But they will proudly give any human a ride on their backs. They like to show off for their friends.
So, there is the Spring Room. I really like it!

Last, but not least, is the Summer Room. I suppose you know what you can do there, play at the beach and all. But there is no mountain ahead, just ocean on and on. Sunshine, light, solar, forest, flower, fire, rock, and leaf fairies hang out here. The Summer Room is also the mermaid Capital. There are lots of mermaids there. As usual, the forest is to the right and the meadow is to the left. There are flowers, too, but not nearly as much as in the Spring Room. The Summer fairies can make a glass of lemonade pop out of thin air, which is super convenient. It is hot in the Summer Room, at all times.

So those are the Season Rooms. They were a highlight to imagine!

The Grand Room

Okay, the Grand Room is the front room of the house. What I think is that my dream-house is in heaven and it is smaller than it really is. It would just look like quite a big house on the outside but is giganto on the inside. The Grand Room is what you would walk into from the front door. Now, on the right side of the door is the Season Rooms. I will talk about those on the next post. On the left side is a door that leads into a short hall with walls lined with closets. On the right side there is a door with Shoes carved in it. A door next to that marks Heavy Coats. Next over is marked Gloves, Hats, Scarves and Masks one on top of the other. And lastly a door with Snowpants. Then on the left side of the hall is a door with Sandals carved on it. The door beside it is marked Light Coats. Next over Glasses, Umbrellas, Caps and Ponchos. Then last but not least, Beach Toys and Towells. I call that The Closet.

In the middle of the Grand Room from the ceiling hangs the Crystal Chandelier. It is exactly what it is called, a crystal chandelier. Long, clear, smooth crystals hang down from a golden hanger. It casts bright white light throughout the Grand Room, and turns off only from a flat switch on the right side of The Closet. Oh, and the switch to turn on the light in the closet is on the left side of the sandals closet.

So, the Grand Room is big, but there is better to come!

A Simple Start

I started this blog to put my dream-house on. I will describe it, add to it, and live in it on simply a web site. Let the fun begin!
